Quick Update on some of the happening things these days… Finally got the guitar learning lessons going on. Looks like it’s going to be lot of fun but will require a lot of hard work & patience too; and I’m all prepared for it. Last week nobody at home, so time for me to utilize the freedom till I drop dead in the night.
Finally got a chance to watch this movie What the bleep do we know Didn’t watch it completely but whatever part I saw from the look of it, I can say its one movie which can change your life. You’ve got to see it to believe it. I found that I was more in the present moment effortlessly, more joyous with a high level of enthusiasm, and at the same time experiencing a sharp level of awareness which was a big pleasant surprise for myself!
Vikram was in town after a long time and we had a couple of night outs with him sharing his experiences in Bangalore during silver jubilee preparations in last 6 months. This guy’s got an amazing future lined up as Gurudev Himself suggested him to join Sumeru Software Solutions. Guruji’s interview on Sahara TV at Hrishi’s place was fantastic. It looks like media is throwing lot of attention on Guruji & His work after Silver Jubilee with so many channels including CNN & CNBC airing their interviews with Gurudev again and again.
Got a chance to do some revving up with my still-so-new Indi on the long stretches of express way on weekend after a long time. This is the second time I’ve taken her out on express way and I found her running sturdily even at 110+! Sunday evening with Rishi Nityapragya was rocking as ever. The revived version of the famous UB40 song “I can’t help” which Rishiji & Amol sang was simply mind-blowing. I’ve thought of learning to play this one on guitar as soon as I get a decent grip on it. The program was attended by some of the top political leaders from area including formed home minister. And that too, leaders from two major political opponents were invited to sit next to each other! That reminded me of night of the Silver Jubilee when people from Pakistan & India were roaming with flags of both countries waving together. I don’t think this has ever happened in the history of the two countries before. Only a Master like Gurudev can make such things happen. I liked the idea of introducing spirituality to the political leaders & decision makers of the society since they need to instill the spirituality & human values into themselves & the society if we want this country to progress.
Wednesday night was a big starry surprise. Time: 5:30. Place: office parking, IT park basement. We were just 4 of us, me, Sagar, Ranjeet & just one football set to go for a short practice session. Suddenly Ranjeet says let’s go to Sinhagad, we called up few more guys and within an hour we were cruising towards the fort in a couple of cars. Ranjeet said there would be enough moonlight to make the climb, so I was relaxed. But as the climb started at 7pm, there was no sign of moon & its light and we managed to get a glimpse of the beautiful crescent of moon only while returning back to city. The most amazing part of the trek was the skies full of stars. I found myself standing below such a beautiful star-studded sky after ages. It all reminded me of years when we used to exercise till late in the evening on the open grounds of our athletics club. You don't get to see so many starts in the city nowadays. On contraty if you watch the city from a plane in the night, it looks as if its reflecting all the stars in its bright lit roads. Anyways we reached back home past two but this night will remain in my memories for quite some time! More on it later…
