The major discovery of last week was undoubtedly that of Holy Grail and the Sangreal documents. In four nights flat as I relentlessly devoured half of the sensational book by Dan Brown, The Da Vinci Code, a new world full of hidden secrets become alive in my contemplation. The line between the fiction and reality in this cracker novel is as thin as a silicon wafer and definitely packs a punch for the first timers. By first timers I mean people like me who haven’t taken any extra efforts till the date all their lives to learn more about the major religions in the world except what was learnt in the school history books.
After breaking my virgin status on the secret of Holy Grail, the first thing I did the next day was to check out what the world had to say about this explosive work of Brown on net. There were pro-Christianity sites claiming everything about Brown’s theories was a hoax and many sites & discussion groups with their focus on discussing secrets hidden in famous paintings like Mona Lisa and the secret societies like Priory of Sion.
The one which gave me the best insight into the matter though was the website of the author himself where he clarifies his inspiration behind writing the book and the kind of responses he has received since the launch of the book. I was well satisfied for the day to conclude my research on the topic. Though I have to complete half of the volume, I’m already positive about recommending the book to people around me.
Time for me to do some secret divulging from my side…
“I didn’t go for the book; the book came to me all by itself.”
- me right here right now with toung in cheek
