Here are a few interesting things I've been spending my time with in the last few days...
Life has become slightly busier and much more happening after becoming an AOL change facilitator!!! As of now I have decided to focus more on bringing light of knowledge in villages nearby Pune and dive into youth empowerment project for the city youth in future. So each Thursday evening on my calendar is reserved for a visit to Shivapur village off highway NH4 to conduct a weekly follow up for some 25 odd people. Monday evenings are reserved for a follow up with AOLites in the office and Sunday mornings for the follow up activities in my residential area which is Bibewadi... started a new follow up center there to develop the densely populated are of Knodhwa Road / Marketyard. A course is planned at the same venue from next week.
Apart from courses n followups last month has been quite happening with the first Meducon event - a UNESCO-IAHV initiative happening in Pune! This series of conferences will continue in 190 countries around the world, bringing together the key people from education and media sectors to bring about transformation to the education system. The event hosted by AOL Pune
received a good response from schools and media industry alike and had participation from a many revolutionaries from the respective fields. Kudos to the Meducon organizing team who made it all happen in such a short span of time!!
On career front things were quite interesting as we approached our first product release slated for June end and I was at the receiving end of "Employee of the month" award for the month of June... quite happy with it especially since its not long since I joined Starent.
